With just one album under to their credit, Chloe x Halle have already received two Grammy nominations, backing from Beyoncé and a high-profile Super Bowl appearance.
The duo attended the star-studded Spotify Best New Artist 2019 event at the Hammer Museum in Los Angeles on Thursday night.
After turning heads on the red carpet with in almost identical outfits, Chloe, 20, and Halle Bailey, 18, later took to the stage and performed at the event.
The sisters first garnered attention after they began to post covers of pop songs to YouTube.
It was their rendition of Beyoncé’s Pretty Hurts that caught the attention of the singer herself, as well as her label Parkwood Entertainment imprint in 2015.
Their debut album The Kids Are All Right was released in March, 2018 and the sisters have been nominated for Best New Artist and Best Urban Contemporary Album at Sunday night’s Grammy Awards.
They also recently performed at Super Bowl 53, where they delighted viewers with a flawless rendition of America The Beautiful.
