“Baby Take Good Care” (BTGC) is a love pop single composed and performed by Ghana’s Knii Lante, and co-produced by Joe (Springboard Studio). Knii Lante sings as a lover sending out a good will message to his partner as a result of their momentary separation. BTGC is the last single to precede the ‘True Feelings’ album scheduled for an international release later this year.
In a quote where he discusses his upcoming album, Knii Lante has this to say: “This song is going to be on my next album, which is reggae biased. I have released this song to satisfy the fans who love afro pop and very much appreciate that aspect of my musical career.”
The song is the second official single after ‘house of pain’ which received nominations in three categories for the 2013 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, resulting in Knii Lante win of the Best Male Vocalist Award.
The video is beautifully shot on location in Usher Fort Prison in Accra, Ghana and directed by Stanley Adjetey of Take2 Films.
