Sony Music Entertainment Africa has announced the signing of popstar D’Banj to its RCA Africa label – D’banj, Kay Switch signed the distribution deal with Sony Music Entertainment recently.
D’banj who was signed to Def Jam Records through a deal with Kanye West‘s G.O.O.D Music last year now joins Sony’s RCA Africa label while Kayswitch’s deal includes a multi-album, worldwide exclusive contract, meaning also that DB Records will now have their music distributed worldwide by RCA.

We’ve always admired his talent and to be able to assist with bringing D’Banj’s music to millions of fans, established and new, across the continent is an honor for us”, says Managing Director of Sony Music Entertainment Sean Watson.
